Strengthening our Common Life (SOCL) – has been running since 2010 and is funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund’s Skills for the Future initiative.

SOCL aims to make the UK’s cultural heritage collections more accessible and meaningful to its increasingly cosmopolitan population.  SOCL does this by offering heritage skills training to people from sections of the population currently under-represented in the sector, and by embedding community engagement and outreach within the training programme.
The programme therefore particularly welcomes applications from 18-25 year olds in the Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities.
Deadline: 30 June 2015

The deadline for receipt of applications is Friday 22nd May 2015,
